Who it is for

Who the €350,000 route is designed for

The closer these are to your situation, the better the fit. If none of them are, it probably is not the right route — and we will say so.

  • You want Greek residency without buying property to get it.
  • You do not plan to live in Greece full time.
  • You would rather not deal with tenants, repairs or an eventual resale.
  • Your objective is the residency, not owning Greek real estate.
  • You want a process that can largely be prepared remotely.
  • You are applying together with eligible family members.
Compared

Fund route and property route

Both reach the same permit. What differs is what you end up holding and how much attention it needs. Property is not the worse answer — if you wanted a place in Greece anyway, it may well be the better one.

Where the money goes

Where the €350,000 actually goes

FastGreece is not on this chain. It is the single thing on this page most worth being clear about.

  1. 01
    You, the investor

Source of funds evidenced by you, in your own name.

  2. 02
Your personal / Greek bank account

An account in your name. We coordinate the opening; we have no authority over it.

  3. 03
    The regulated fund

You subscribe in your own name; the money moves from your account to the fund.

  4. 04
    The fund’s underlying assets

Greek securities, bonds and other eligible assets, managed by the fund under its own rules and supervision.

  5. 05
    Fund units held by you

The units are your asset. The residence application is filed on the strength of holding them.

FastGreece does not hold or receive the €350,000.

  • The investment is never transferred to any FastGreece account.
  • What we provide is legal, immigration, KYC, banking-coordination and administrative work.
  • What we charge is a disclosed service fee — not a fund commission.
Process

From the first conversation to the card

Nine steps. There is no "typically X months" here: we can move the early ones along, and the Ministry’s processing is not ours to move.

  1. 01

    Eligibility review

Feasibility first — including being told it does not work.

  2. 02

    KYC and source of funds

Assembled into a chain that can be traced end to end.

  3. 03

    AFM, POA and banking

    Where required. Handled remotely.

  4. 04

    Structure selection and verification

Confirming the chosen structure qualifies as things stand.

  5. 05

    Investment completed

Subscribed from your own account, registered to you.

  6. 06

    Supporting certificate issued

Issued by the provider and the bank.

  7. 07

    Application filed

Signed and filed by a Greek-qualified lawyer.

  8. 08

    Biometrics

    Requires you in Greece, once.

  9. 09

    Residence permit

Decided and issued by the Ministry.

Total cost

What it costs on top of the investment

Three different kinds of money, so they are shown apart. The investment is not a cost: while the holding conditions are met it is still your asset.

Our understanding of eligibility rests on the fund’s published documents as at the verification date. Both eligibility and availability are re-checked before any application proceeds.

Worth knowing

This is not a list of every qualifying structure in the market, and it is not a recommendation. Availability and eligibility change; FastGreece verifies the chosen structure before an application proceeds. We do not provide investment advice.

We take no fund sales commission. Our fee is the same whichever structure you use, or if you choose another route entirely — so there is nothing riding on what this section says.

Who handles it

Whose hands this is in

Signed and filed by a Greek-qualified lawyer

What reaches the Ministry is signed by a lawyer, not passed through an agency.

A written scope of work

What is included and what is not, set down before anything starts.

Fees published

On the site, VAT included, and not a percentage of what you invest.

KYC and source-of-funds coordination

We assemble the file; the bank and the provider each review it.

Documents prepared remotely

Apart from biometrics, most of it does not need you there.

Progress you check yourself

Case status sits in the client portal; you should not have to ask.

Questions

What we get asked

Does the €350,000 go to FastGreece?
No. It is subscribed from your own Greek account and the units are registered to you. We never receive, collect or hold it. What we are paid is a separately stated legal and administrative fee.
How long do I have to live in Greece?
There is no minimum stay under the current rules. You need to be in Greece once for biometrics; after that the requirement is maintaining the investment.
Who can apply with me?
A spouse or registered partner, children under 21, and the parents of both the applicant and the spouse. Each dependant adds government fees and insurance.
Is this investment advice?
No. We provide immigration and legal services. We do not give investment advice, do not put forward specific products and take no fund sales commission. Read the provider’s prospectus and KID before subscribing, and take advice on the investment from someone qualified to give it.
How long does it take?
It depends on how quickly your documents come together, on the bank’s review, and on the Ministry’s processing. We can move the first two along; we cannot move the third, which is why we do not promise a timeline.

Is the €350,000 route right for you?

A two-minute eligibility check, nothing to prepare. Someone in the Athens office then tells you what is workable — including when the answer is not yet.

About two minutes. No obligation. What you tell us is used for this assessment only.
