There are some news on the topic Athens and Greece in preparation for the tourist season 2020.
According to some news on BBC, the tourist season 2020 likely to be “cancelled”. As British Health Secretary Matt Hancock supposes, many Britons are unlikely will be able to afford foreign holiday season and underlines that because of the current situation with the coronavirus in all European countries, it’s “likely to be the case there won’t be a normal summer holiday season”. That was said on ITV’s This Morning yesterday.
At the same time UK’s Daily Mail had slightly different opinion on the situation with holidays in Greece this summer. In its headline yesterday the British newspaper notes that Greek government organising a plan to restart tourist activities in Greece: Athens, the capital of Greece and Greek islands. While Greek government positioning Greece as a “safe, coronavirus holiday destination” for the summer 2020, the UK’s news giant believes that “British tourists could holiday in Greece without restrictions from June 1″. In the news article the Daily Mail refers to the information given by the Greek government.
Hopefully the tourist season in Athens and Greece will start very soon.
Sunrises in Athens are beautiful. They are really worth to be seen. Every year, and holidays 2020 are not an exception.
